Speech #1 Reflection

My topic in personal branding speech #1 was "A Day In My Life." I have never had a public speaking experience besides presenting projects in school. On the public speech, at first I thought it was going to be easy because there is only about 15 kids in the class. It ended up being much harder than I thought. I was actually pretty nervous when I got up there to give my speech. I did not think I did that well on the speech because I didn't know what to say about it. I thought to say a special day in my life, but was told after to say a normal day throughout the year. If I would have said anything different it would be to change up my whole speech, and talk about an everyday I have.

I really love this quote because Henry Miller is saying that real leaders point to the way instead of literally leading to the way. A real leader instead of doing everything for everyone, they help people to get to a goal.
